Patna : In a match reduced to 12 overs per side due to rain, Rajasthan Royals (RR) need 151 to score 151 to defeat Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the 32nd match of IPL this season at Feroz Shah Kotla ground, Delhi, on May 2, 2018, night. The RR were 92/1 in 8 overs with opener Jos Buttler, England,  getting out for 67 in 26 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes. His opening partner D Arcy John Matthew Short, 27, Australia, was batting on 20 in 18 balls with a four and a six. Sanju Samson was unbeaten on 3. RR need to score 59 runs in next 4 overs to win the match.

The match was first reduced to 18 overs each side due to rain. RR won the toss but opted to bowl. When DD had scored 196/6 in 17.1 overs, rain again interrupted the play and it was reduced to 12 overs each side. For DD, Rishav Pant scored 69 in 29 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes while captain Shreyas Iyer scored 50 on 35 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Opener Parthivi Pankaj Shah, 18, scored 47 in 25 balls hitting 4 fours and 4 sixes. He hit RR pacer Dhawal Kulkarni for two sixes and a four in his second over.
