Ara : Hundreds of the RJD activists led by Anurag Kumar, Bhojpur district president, RJD student wing, on May 17, 2017, took out a protest march on March 17, 2017, that passed through the main thoroughfares of Ara town in protest against the raids conducted by the Income-tax (IT) department in connection with alleged land deals of kin of RJD Chief of Lalu on May 16.
The march culminated at Ara railway station. Speaking on the occasion, Alok Ranjan ,state vice-president, RJD, said that the union government was hatching plot to gag the voice of champions of social justice Lalu Prasad and warned if the fascist force at the centre and Sushil Kumar Modi in Bihar did not stop it, the RJD will teach them a lesson.
