Bokaro (Jharkhand) : DPS Bokaro student Rishi Divya Kirti bagged the first position in the Grand Finale of ‘Mini Ganga Quest’ organised by National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), an authority under Government of India which implements ‘Namami Gange’ programme, and TREE Craze Foundation (TCF), a non profit organisation committed to Ganga, Rivers, and Environment. The quest was held online from November 1 to 3, 2020.

Rishi Divya Kirti, a student of DPS Bokaro, was the only participant from the east zone to make it to the finals. Kirti of class XI competed  with over ten thousand students across the country to reach the finals. For winning the quest, Kirti was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 15,000 along with a Knowledge Kit and Certificate.

Ganga Quest is a national bilingual (Hindi and English) online quiz on Ganga and anyone above 10 years of age can participate in the quiz. Kirti stood first in Grade III for students of classes XI and XII.

Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S  Gangwar, congratulated Rishi Divya Kirti  for his extraordinary performance. He stressed that more students should participate in such competitions.
