Munger: District and sessions judge, Munger, Shushma Sinha, on Wednesday sentenced one Lallan Pathak alias Lallo Pathak, a resident of Bahadur Nagar Rupan Pathak Tola under Mufassil police station, to rigourous life imprisonment for killing a school boy in 2011. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict.
According to the APP Prahlad Pandit, a school student RiteshYadav, 12, resident of the same village but other locality of ShivramTola, under Mufassil police station, was shot dead on July 27, 2011, in the evening when he was playing with his school mates at the village near his house. Three bike borne persons including accused Lallan Pathak, Santosh Chaudhry and Dabloo Yadav, suddenly came there and shot dead Ritesh and fled away.The accused had demanded payment of extortion money from his father who had come home from Delhi with good amount.Santosh Choudhry and Dabloo managed to jump bail during trial,the APP said.
