Patna :  DM, Patna, Kumar Ravi has deployed sufficient number of magistrates, police officers, and police forces to make lockdown
successful and effective. All administrative and police officials have been instructed to remain on duty. Kumar has issued strict instructions to all SDOs to keep moving under their respective areas and ensure compliance with provisions of lockdown.

Commercial and private institutions have been directed to remain closed. However, ration shops, PDS shops, grocery
establishments, fruit and vegetable shops, mandi, dairy and milk booth, and meat, fish, animal feed shops have been separated from lockdown. The time of running of fruit and vegetable shops, mandi, and meat and fish shops has been fixed from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm. The DM has requested the shop-keepers and people to follow rules of social distancing and wear of masks at aforesaid places. DM Kumar hassa urged the people to download and use Arogya Setu App.
Registration Offices will continue to function with necessary protective measures during lockdown period from July 16 to July 31.
Keeping in mind the important role of Registration Department in collection of government revenue, an order has been issued to keep
Registration Office open with appropriate security measures even during lockdown period.
The DM has issued these ordersa in the light of letter issued by Director General, Registration, Prohibition, Excise & Registration
Department, Patna (Bihar).
