Raonic, Cilic, Verdasco & Sruff enter 2nd round of Rolex Paris Masters

Patna : World No 24 and 2014 US Open Champion Marin Cilic, Croatia, World No 32 Milos Raonic, Canada, World No 36 Jan-Lennard Struff, Germany, and World No 49 Fernando Verdasco, Spain, entered the 2nd round of Rolex Paris Masters at Paris, France, on October 28, 2019.

Cilic beat World No 37 Hubert Hurkacz, Poland, in straight sets 7-6, 6-2 in first round winning 1 break point in the match. He fired 9 Aces in the match to 6 by Hurkacz. Cilic also won 3 games in a row in the match.

Struff  edged past World No 72 Yoshihito Nishioka, Japan, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in first round. Struff hammered 20 Aces in the match to just 1 by Nishioka. Struff won 4 break points in the match to 2 by the Japanese.

Verdasco upset World No 25 Borna Coric, Croatia, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 in first round. The Spaniard fired 13 Aces in the match to 8 by the Croatia. He won 4 break points in the match to 3 by Coric.
