Bokaro (Jharkhand)  : To develop aesthetic sense amongst the children and instill creative thinking among them, DPS Bokaro organised a Rangoli Competition and Flower arrangement Workshop on November 22, 2019, under the banner of Dr Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participants from different schools of the city. The  students displayed their innovative and artistic acumen in creating vibrant rangolis with beautiful social messages. The competition was judged by Hemlata, a distinguish artist with the prestigious Senior Fellowship of Ministry of Culture, and Anita Kumari, a creative artist. In the Rangoli Competition, MGM Higher Secondary School was declared first while the second position was bagged by DPS Chas. Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir secured the third position.

The Rangoli Competition was followed by a workshop on flower arrangements wherein the students learnt the unique ways of  crafting handmade bouquets using their creative skills and imagination.

The occasion was graced by  Fr. Reji C Varghese, Principal, MGM, Biswajit  Patra, Principal, ARS Public School, and Anil  Kumar Gupta, Principal, Crescent Public School.
