Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ grosses Rs 316 cr in 17 days

Patna : Rajkumar Hirani directorial ‘Sanju’ starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role has done a business of over Rs 316 crore in 17 days across the country leaving the lifetime collection of Ranvir Singh, Deepika Padokone, Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Padmavat’ ( Rs 302 crore) and Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ ( slightly over Rs 300 crore) far behind.

The film does not look like slowing down and collected over Rs 21.4 crore in the third weekend including over Rs 9.20 crore on the 17th day. The film was released on June 29, 2018. The film grossed over Rs 2o2.5 crore in its week and and over Rs 92.5 crore in the second week. It joined the Rs 300 crore club in the third weekend emerging as a blockbuster. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
