Ramkumar Ramnathan loses in qualifiers of ATP MIami Open Masters

Patna : World No 139 in ATP rankings Ramkumar Ramnathan, 24, India, lost to World No 106 Lorenzo Sonego, 23, Italy, in the qualifying round of ATP Miami Masters 1,000 at Hard Rock Stadium, Florida, USA  on March 18, 2018.

Sonego beat Ramnathan 6-4, 6-1 dashing the latter’s hope to qualify for the main draw. Sonego will face World No 60 Mackenzie McDonald, 23, USA, in the next qualifying round on March 19.

World No 84 Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, India, will face World No 141 Adrian Menendez Maceiras, 33, Spain, in the qualifiers on March 19, 2019.
