Sitamarhi: A large number of devotees of Lord Sri Rama and Goddess Janski (Sita) have started preparations to collect pious soil ( Mitti) and water from different rivers in Sitamarhi district.

Along with them,  a large group of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal supporters have also decided to participate at Lord Rama’s temple ground breaking ( Bhoomi Poojan) ceremony at Ayodhya, UP.  They have collected soils from Janki temple, Sitamarhi, premises, Janaki temple Punaura, Haleshwar Asthan, Panthapakar Asthan, Bagahi temple, Singrahia temple, and Dekuli Dham. They have collected water amid chanting of  the Vedic hymns from Sita Kund (pond), Sitamarhi, and rivers including Bagmati, Jhim, Lakhandei, and the Adhawara group.
The Ramait cult followers under the leadership of Ramanand Prasad and Arvind Kumar will proceed to Ayodhya on August 1, 2020, and the sacred items will be handed over to Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha  Kshetra head Mahantha Nritya Gopal Dasji Maharaj.
The common people in Sitamarhi district are very upbeat over the proposed construction of temple at Ayodhya.
