New Delhi : Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh reviewed the expenditure made by the Ministry of Home Affairs for the first quarter of the current financial year. The MHA has utilized about 27% of the budget during first three month (April to June, 2017) out of total budget of Rs 83,823.30 crore for 2017-18.

The Union Home Minister asked the officers to maintain the same tempo and also to ensure that the budget utilization crosses 50% by the end of September, 2017, according to a PIB release.

The Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Rajiv Gauba, Secretary, Border Management Sanjeevani Kutty, Special Secretary Dr. Rina Mitra and senior officers from all the divisions of the Ministry were also present at the meeting.
