New Delhi : Ministry of Railways has decided to extend the relaxation in upper age limit for the ongoing recruitment of Group C Level I & II posts. Last date for submission of application would be extended suitably.
For the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technicians, the Upper Age limit for Unreserved (UR) category would be 30 years instead of 28 as notified earlier. For the OBC category, it would be 33 years instead of 31. For SC category, it would be 35 years instead of 33 years. For the ST category the upper age limit would be 35 years instead of 33 years as notified earlier.
For Level 1 posts ( erstwhile Group D), the upper age limit for UR category would be 33 years instead of 31 years while for the OBCcategory the upper age limit would be 36 years instead of 34 years. For the SC category, the upper age limit would be 38 years insteads of 36 years. For the ST category to0, the upper age limit would be 38 years insteadof 36 years, according to a PIB release.
It has also been decided that the questions in regional languages like Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Odiya, Telugu, Bangla and others will be available for candidates to take the exam.
Earlier, Ministry of Railways had announced one of the world’s largest recruitment processes for 89,409 posts in Group C Level I (Erstwhile Group D) & Level II Categories.
