Radha Mohan interacts with people on Facebook

Motihari:  Union agriculture  minister  Radha Mohan Singh had a direct dialogue with the people interested in  farming  and farmers across the country through Facebook  from Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi,  on
Monday.  The farmers put up their questions on Facebook and he answered them on line between 11 am to 12 noon.

The minister said that 400 queries  came on the Facebook and 100 were answered instantly and the responses of remaining questions were being communicated. Over 30,000 people participated in the programme and the minister received 600 comments till 3 pm. He said  the people of the country for the first time  asked
question directly  from agriculture minister and the salient features of this dialogue was that all the questions were related to the modern farming. “It shows that the farmers are very keen about new technology  of  agriculture to grow more crops. All the questions were related to various agriculture schemes  being
implemented in the country,” Singh said and added he would have direct question –answer sessions with the people on Fecebook regularly.
