Motihari :  Union  agriculture minister  Radha Mohan Singh  on Thursday asked Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi to break his silence on Bihar Intermediate Exam results scam as the state education minister Ashok Choudhary belongs to his party. Singh said the recent expose on Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Intermediate Exam toppers will definitely impact  genuine  meritorious  students going outside the state for higher studies as they were already facing embarrassment and being viewed with suspicion. The scam has damaged the reputation of Bihar across the
glob, Singh said.

Talking newsmen  at Motihari on Thursday, Singh said the Bihar government was at present being run jointly
by  JD(U) ,RJD and congress and the state congress president and education minister Ashok Choudhary can’t shrug  of his responsibility  for this  shameful state of affairs. Singh said the UPA government was known for several big scams.ce
long . ” Rahul Gandhi has praised has praised Ashok Choudhary in no uncertain  term for his better performance  as an education minister in Bihar. He said this Inter exam result scam should not be viewed in isolation as many  as such scams had surfaced during the UPA regime at the centre . In Karnataka,  a congress ruled, degrees are allegedly being allegedly sold on various considerations. Now in Bihar, education mafia  has started the same practice  allegedly in connivance with powerful politicians,” said the union agriculture minister.

Singh said Rahul Gandhi, who , must break his was recently all praise for Bihar education minister Choudhary in Delhi
ought to break his silence over the Inter Exam result  scam. In a frontal attack on Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Singh said BSEB Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh , who resigned from his post on June 8, is very close to him as his wife is a senior JD(U) leader. Several charges were levelled against Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh  on the floor of assembly by  MLAs including sale of examination centres, mass copying at examination and corrupt practices in releasing financial assistance to Inter colleges during last three years, the union minister said.

The union minister held Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and state education minister Choudhary responsible  for
the Inter exam result scam. He alleged said to save the former BSEB chairman and education mafia, case was lodged  against the  students.
