Ara : Annual function and prize distribution ceremony of Ram Vilas Singh (RVS) Public School was organised on school campus on February 17, 2019.
Former BJP MLA from Sandesh, Sanjay Singh Tiger, Social Worker, Bhai Barmeshwar, Head of the Department, Bhojpuri, H D Jain College, Ara, and Director, R V S Public School, Kanti Singh, jointly inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial candle. Manish Kumar conducted the programme while Kanti Singh welcomed the guests and also highlighted the progress of the school.
The school honoured the guests with shawls, bouquets, mementos and garlands. Staffs and teachers of the school, guests, students and guardians paid homage and observed two minute silence for the 43 CRPF personnel killed in terror attack Pulmawa district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the gathering, former MLA Sanjay Singh Tiger said that education makes a person a good citizen and so it should be must for everyone. He said that discipline is the key to development, success and progress. He applauded the performance of students of the school and motivated them to do better in life. He also said that students should concentrate on their study besides spending some time on sports and extracurricular activities.
Earlier students of the R V S Public School enthralled the gathering by their performances particularly by the little ones. Later, the students were given prizes for their excellence in different fields.
