Patna : Cheteshwar Pujara and Wriddhiman Saha ( WK) on March  19, 2017, became the first two Indian batsmen to score centuries in the on going Test series against Australia. Pujara took 668 minutes and faced 525 balls to score 202 in the third test at Ranchi, his second double century against Australia. This was also Pujara’s fourth century in 2016-17 season. He had missed out on a century in the second test in Bengaluru having made 92.  K L Rahul  (90) had also missed century in Bengaluru test. Saha made 117. It was his third test century of the season. Captain Virat Kohli has so far scored 46 runs in five innings including six in the third test .
