Probe ordered into functioning of Hajipur Short Stay Home

Hajipur : Vaishali acting district magistrate cum DDC S N Yadav on July 21, 2018, said that a committee will investigate into the complints of a two -member committee of Baal Adhikar Sanrakshan Aayog regarding irregularities at Short Stay Home at Hajipur, headquarters of Vaishali District.
Yadav said that the two- member team including a female member Prema Sah met him on July 21 and apprised him of the situation which prevails at the Short Stay Home. The committee would probe the complaints made by Sah and her associate, he added.
Earlier in the day, the two- member committee of Baal Adhikar Sanrakshan Aayog including  Prema Sah visited the Short Stay Home ( Alpawas Grih) at Bag Dulhan and interacted with the inmates there. Sah was upset over the complaints made by some inmates. One of the employees was seen standing in front of Sah with folded hands after he was given a dressing down by the members.
Later interacting with mediapersons, Sah said that they would meet Vaishali DM and apprise him of the situation there. Sah said that she would submit her report to DM seeking stern action against erring employees. Social Welfare Department, Bihar Government, operates 28 Short Stay Homes in the state.
