Sasaram : Three bike borne armed miscreants shot dead owner of a private school at village Semari under Dawath police station (PS) in Rohtas District in South Bihar on May 19, 2021, evening.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Hareram Tiwari, 50, son of late Nathuni Tiwari of Manoharpur village under Dinara PS in Rohtas district. An FIR was lodged with Dawath police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO, Dawath PS, said that Hareram Tiwari ran a private school at Bikramganj. He had gone to Maliabagh along with his son Vikas Kumar on his motorcycle for buying green vegetable for marriage ceremony to be solemnised at his house. When he was returning from the market,three bike borne miscreants pumped four bullets into his body and escaped though Vikas Kumar survived narrowly. He was rushed to a private nursing home at Bikramganj but the doctor referred him to Sasaram Sadar Hospital where the doctor diagnosed him brought dead.
