Principal Secretary to Governor Brajesh Mehrotra promoted to Apex Payscale

Patna : Bihar Government on October 4, 2019, promoted Principal Secretary to Governor Brajesh Mehrotra, a 1989 batch IAS officer, to the Apex Payscale (Chief Secretary rank) from the date he assumes charge in this scale. The post of Principal Secretary to Governor has been upgraded and designated as Additional Chief Secretary to Governor during Mehrotra’s tenure.   The General Administration Department (GAD) issued a notification to this effect on October 4.

Pradeep Kumar, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, Prosecution Directorate, Home Department, was transferred on October 4, 2019, by theState Government and appointed as Additional Secretary, Tourism Department.
