Patna : Bihar Government on October 15, 2019, transferred five senior IAS officers and gave additional charge to three IAS officers.The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on October 15 evening.

Dr Deepak Prasad, a 1989 batch IAS officer and Advisor, Bihar State Planning Board, has been shifted and appointed Principal Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department.

Chaitanya Prasad, a 1990 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department (UDHD), with additional charge of Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department and MD, Patna Metro Rail Corporation, has been shifted and appointed Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department. Prasad will continue to hold additional charge of Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department.

Harjot Kaur Bamhara, a 1992 batch IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department, with additional charge of Principal Secretary cum Mines Commissioner, Mines & Geology Department, and MD, Bihar State Mineral Development Corporation Limited, and MD, Bihar State Mines Corporation, has been transferred and appointed Principal Secretary cum Mines Commissioner, Mines & Geology Department. She would hold additional charge of MD, Bihar State Mineral Development Corporation, and MD, Bihar State Mines Corporation.

Pradeep Kumar Jha, a 2006 batch IAS officer and Special Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, has been transferred and appointed Director, Information & Public Relations Department. Jha will hold additional charge of Special Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, and MD, Bihar Samvad Samitee.

Amrendra Prasad Singh, a 2007 batch IAS officer and MD, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation, has been transferred and appointed Administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation.

Anand Kishore, a 1996 batch IAS officer and Chairman, Bihar School Examination Board, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department, and MD, Patna Metro Rail Corporation.

Sanjay Agrawal, a 2002 batch IAS officer and Secretary, Transport Department, with additional charge of Inquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department, and MD, Bihar State Road Development Corporation, and OSD, Didaster Management Department, has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Patna Division.

Chandrasekhar Singh, a 2010 batch IAS officer and Additional Secretary, CM Secretariat, has been given additional charge of MD, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation, and MD, Bihar State Housing Board.
