Prez greets people on the eve of Raksha Bandhan

New Delhi : The President of India Ram Nath Kovind on August 6, 2017, greeted the people on the eve of Raksha Bandhan.  “On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, I offer my warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens. This unique festival celebrates the sacred bond of commitment between sisters and brothers. May Raksha Bandhan, symbolising the virtues of love, affection and mutual trust, bring happiness and prosperity to all people of our country.  I hope that the day is an occasion for all of us to renew the spirit of fraternity among the citizens of India,” said President Kovind, in a message, according to a PIB release.
