New Delhi : President of India Ram NathKovind will visit Jharkhand on November 15, 2017. This will be his first visit to Jharkhand as President of India.
The President will commence his engagements by paying tributes to freedom fighter Birsa Munda at his statue at BirsaChowk, Ranchi. Later in the day, he will grace the foundation day celebrations of Jharkhand state and inaugurate or lay the foundation stones of various projects at Ranchi. He will also receive the first copy of the Hindi translation of a commentary on the Bhagavad Gita at a function organised by the Yogoda Satsanga Society before leaving Ranchi, according to a PIB release.
