Patna : Bihar Government on August 24, 2020, transferred six IPS officers including five newly promoted ones and posted them to different places. Prantosh Kumar Das, a 2004 batch IPS officer and SP, Economic Offence Unit, who was recently promoted to DIG rank, has been appointed DIG cum Deputy Director, Bihar Police Academy, Rajgir, Nalanda.
Veena Kumari, Additional SP, Vigilance Investigation Bureau, has been shifted and appointed SP, Weaker Section and Women’s Cell, CID, Bihar. Mohd Saifurrahman,DSP, Special Vigilance Unit, Patna, Bihar, too has been shifted and made SP, Vigilance Investigation Bureau. Rajesh Kumar, Additional SP Vigilance Investigation Bureau, has been transferred and appointed SP, Economic Offence Unit, Bihar.
Pankaj Kumar, Additional SP, Jehanabad, has been shifted and made SP at the office of Regional IG, Muzaffarpur. Ashok Kumar Prasad, Additional SP at the office of DG ( Training), Patna, has been transferred and appointed SP, BiharPolice Sub-ordinate Service Commission, Patna.
