Patna : World No 32 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings H S Prannoy, India, and World No 43 Sourabh Verma, India, entered the quarter-finals of Yonex US Open, an HSBS BWF World Tour Super 300 Tournament at Fullerton, USA, on July 11, 2019.
Prannoy beat World No 51 Heo Kwang Hee, South Korea, in three games 21-16, 18-21, 21-16 in 60 minutes at Titan Gym, Fullerton, USA, in the 2nd round. Prannoy won 60 rallies in the match to 53 by the South Korean. He won 6 consecutive points in the match to 4 by Hee.
