Prajnesh enters SFs of ATP Shanghai Challenger

Patna : Top seed and World No 85 Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 29, India, entered the semi-finals of ATP Shanghai Challenger in China on September 13, 2019. India No 1 Prajnesh beat World No 232 Hiroki Moriya, 28, Japan, the 8th seed, in straight games 6-4, 6-4 in the quarter-finals on September 13.

Prajnesh will face 4th seed and World No 165 Yasutaka Uchiyama, 27, Japan, in the semi-finals on September 14, 2019. Uchiyama beat 7th seed  and World No 197 Andrew Harris, 25, UK, in the QFs. Harris retired in the second set due to injury trailing 1-2 after losing the first set 6-7.
