Patna : Prabhakar, a 2007 batch Sikkim Cadre IAS Officer who recently joined in Bihar on inter-cadre deputation, was on January 31, 2020, appointed Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC). He has also been given additional charge of Additional Secretary, Tourism Department, Bihar Government.
Another 2007 batch IAS Officer Vijay Kumar, who too was waiting for posting, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Agriculture Department. Kanwal Tanuj, a 2010 batch IAS Officer and Additional Secretary, Rural Development Department, has been given additional charge of Director, Cultural Works Directorate, Art, Culture & Youth Affairs Department, Bihar. Himanshu Kumar Rai, another 2010 batch IAS Officer and Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, has been transferred and appointed Additional Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD).
