Patna : World No 132 Vasek Pospisil, 29, Canada, routed compatriot Denis Shapovalov, 20, the World No 16, 6-2, 6-3 in second round of Open Sud de France, an ATP 250 hard court event, at Montpellier, France, to enter the quarter-finals of the tournament on February 6, 2020.
Pospisil, who had reached Wimbledon QFs in 2015, won 3 break points in the match to none by 3rd seed Shapovalov. He fired 4 Aces in the match to 5 by Shapovalov. Pospisil also won 3 games in a row in the match.
