Police yet to arrest main acused in Under Secretary Rajiv murder case

Patna : The SIT investigating into the murder of an Under Secretary of Planning department, Rajiv Kumar, 59, in the wee hours of August 14, at his official residence on R-Block, Patna, is yet to arrest the main accused, Rahul Kumar.

SHO, Secretariat police station, said that raids are on to arrest Rahul Kumar. He, however, claimed that the case has been cracked with the arrest of Sunny and Shravan, and recovery of Rs 40,000 cash and jewellery looted from the house of Rajiv Kumar. Rajiv Kumar was to retire from Government service in June 2019. The deceased wife has gone to her in-laws, native place after the incident.
