Patna : Police team unearthed a mini gun factory at Bandhu Tola under Shahpur police station in Patna district on October 25, 2018. Police also seized huge cache of arms and ammunition besides arresting the man running the mini gun factory.
Police sources said that Senior SP (SSP) Manu Maharaaj had received inputs that a mini gun factory is running in Bandhu Tola under Sahpur police station. He immediately directed City SP (West) and SHO, Sahpur police station, to conduct raids there. A police team conducted raid there and arrested the kingpin Awadesh from there. During raid, police seized four countrymade pistols, 11 live cartridges, and four empty cartridges.
During interrogation, Awadesh admitted he was running the unit and used to supply arms outside the district. Shahpur police station is 21 km away from Patna town.
