Police seize 900 kg Ganja from truck in Muzaffarpur, 2 arrested

Muzaffarpur : The Special Task Force (STF), on a tip off, seized 900 kg worth Rs 90 lakh from a truck on NH 28 under Sakra police station in Muzaffarpur district late September 15, 2017, night. The STF seized the truck and arrested two smugglers : Raju Mandal  of North 24 Pargana district, West Bengal, and Jitendra Verma of Tripura.

The truck was coming from Tripura and was enroute UP. The Ganja was to be delivered in Vaishali district, sources said. Both the arrested smugglers are being being interrogated. The Ganga was hidden in a secret box in the truck. Police sources said that the Ganja supplier Rahul Da hails from Haripur, Agartala, Tripura.
