Buxar : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at a house at village Balihar under Simari police station in Buxar district on October 5, 2020, late evening, and seized about 85 kilogram of Ganja and two countrymade pistols and arrested a drug peddler.
The arrested drug peddler was identified as Binod Singh, son of late Gajadhar Singh of Balihar village under Simari police station. A named FIR has been lodged by Simari police station in this regard and police are investigating the matter.The arrested drug peddler was sent to jail after interrogation.
Buxar SP Neeraj Kumar Singh said that he got information that a drug peddler Binod Singh had kept a big consignment of Ganja at his house. The SP immediately formed a police team under Dumraon DSP K K Singh. Police conducted raid at Binod Singh’s house at Balihar village and seized 85 kg. of Ganja, some cash, and two countrymade pistols from his house and also arrested Binod Singh.
