Sasaram: Rohtas police conducted raid at the house of Rabindra Sah at Nokha under the same police station on Saturday and seized 3,300 litre of liquor kept in 275 boxes, 27 kg Ganga worth about Rs 1.30 lakh, 12 drum Kerosene oil, 700 bags of chemical fertilizer, equipment used for brewing liquor and packing machine from there though Sah along with his associates managed to escape. Police described it as big catch. But, the locals said that illegal sale and purchase of liquor was going on in the area for the last several years but the police never bothered to stop it despite several complaints.
