Sitamarhi : Sitamarhi Town police, on a tip off, seized 310 cartons of Haryana made foreign liquor laden on an SUV and mini- truck on July 21, 2021, and arrested two smugglers near a Cement godown at village Bariyarpur.
The arrested smugglers have been identified as Raj Kumar and Dhan Kumar, both residents of Sitamarhi District in North Bihar. A few others smugglers fled away. Sources said that police were searching for the kingpin of the racket. The details of vehicles are also being traced. Haryana police have been contacted regarding the seized consignment.
