Buxar : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at village Noniyapura under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district on April 9, 2020, evening, and arrested a drug peddler. Police also seized 295 gram of Heroin worth about Rs 40 lakh in the international market, a mobile phone, rubber band, and about Rs 30,000 cash from his possession.
The arrested drug peddler was identified as Anil Prasad. A named FIR was lodged by Krishnabrahm police station in this connection and police sent Anil Prasad to jail after interrogation.
Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma said that he got information that a drug peddler Anil Prasad was seen at Noniyapura village under Krishnabrahm police station selling drugs in and around the village after which he sent a police team to arrest him. The police team conducted raids at Noniyapura village and arrested Anil Prasad and seized 295 gram of Heroin, a Mobile Phone, rubber band, and about Rs 30,000 cash from his possession. He said that the drug peddler had earned money by selling heroin.
