Ara :Police seized 200 litre of countrymade liquor from a Magic Van of Health Department from Koelwar under the same police station in Bhojpur district and also arrested its driver on October 5, 2019. Two liquor smugglers, however, escaped from the spot.
The arrested van driver has been identified as Md Shahid Ahamad, son of Md Abdul Latif of Nawada locality under Nawada police station, Ara.
SHO, Koelwar police station, Brajesh Kumar said that police intercepted a Magic Van of Health department near Shaheed Kapil Chowk on Ara-Patna main road under Koelwar police station when the vehicle was on way to Danwar-Bihta from Patna. Seeing police, two liquor smugglers of Kulharia locality escaped from the scene while police seized 200 litre of countrymade liquor and arrested the driver of the Magic Van.
