Ara : Police, on a tip off, conducted raids at a house in Begumpur locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur District on August 9, 2020, late evening, and seized 20 cartons of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) though the liquor smugglers escaped from the spot taking advantage of the darkness.
An FIR has been lodged with Ara Town police station under Prohibition and Excise Act and police are conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers. SHO, Ara Town police station, said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL had been brought to a house in Begumpur locality. Police immediately swung into action and conducted raids at that house and seized 20 cartons of IMFL manufactured in Haryana.
