Gopalganj: A Meerganj police team in Gopalganj intercepted a four-wheeler and an auto at Chhap Mor and recovered 180 bottles of countrymade liquor respectively from the two vehicle. The drivers of both the vehicles escaped from there.

Police said that both the vehicles were on way to Gopalganj from Siwan. Acting on a tip off, Meerganj police station SHO B P Alok intercepted the four-wheeler between Chhap Mor and Khargee Mor on NH-85. Police said that the four-wheeler belongs to Prem Parvat, a native of village Chhap Mathiya. Police are also trying to locate the owner of the three-wheeler. Meanwhile, wife of Prem Parvat reached local police station and claimed that her husband had bought the four-wheeler on January 1, 2017, for commercial purpose.
