Police seize 16 bottles of liquor, one held

Gopalganj: A Meerganj police team led by SHO BP Alok on January 6 seized 16 bottles of Bunty-Babli (local liquor)  from the house of one Umesh Singh at village Bhojhata. Singh was arrested by police.In another incident, three warrantees-Shauqat Mian and Vakil Mian of Line Bazaar and Nasruddin Mian of Ekdanga were arrested under a special drive. Another Meerganj police team intercepted a Bolero and recovered 19 cartons of liquor from the vehicle. The four-wheeler was intercepted at Ekdanga-Bhawani Chhapar under Meerganj police station.
