Ara : Patna police with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart recovered two missing teenage girls and also arrested their kidnappers from Tribhuani Mor under Nawada police station, Ara, on February 28, 2018, and took them to Patna.

SHO, Nawada police station(PS), Subodh Kumar, said that Sanjeet Kumar of village Karpi village in Arwal district and and Sourabh Kumar of Masaudhi in Patna district are students of Masaudhi High School in Patna district. Sanjeet Kumar fell in love with Dimple (name changed) of class X while Sourabh Kumar loved Radhika (name changed) of class VIII of the same school. They decided to escape from their houses and get married.

On February 24, 2018, DimpleĀ  and Radhika came out of their houses telling their family members that they were going to school but they did not return. When the girls did not return home from their school, their family members searched for them and when they failed to locate them, they informed police. Police immediately swung into action and recovered the girl on February 28 and arrested the two boys too. The girls said that they spent nights at Ara railway station after their escape.
