Ara : Haresh Mishra, during his marathon interrogation, has reportedly confessed before police that he had  murdered former state BJP vice-president Bisheshwar Ojha. Haresh also told police that he had buried the rifle used in the murder underground on the outskirts of Sonbarsha village. On his revelation, police recovered the .315bore regular rifle.

Haresh Mishra denied any political conspiracy in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha and said he was murdered in a war of attrition in the area between the groups of Shivjeet Mishra and Bisheshwar Ojha who were friends but later turned foe. Later, police forwarded all the three brothers: Haresh Mishra, Dhananjay Mishra and Kishun Mishra, sons of jailed Shivjeet Mishra, to jail late December 28 evening.

Bhojpur SP said that Haresh Mishra was absconding for the last three years after the murder of Mako Ojha in 2013 and he again killed Bisheshwar Ojha on February 12, 2016. Police is searching for absconder Brajesh Mishra, another son of Shivjeet Mishra, who carriesa reward of Rs 50,000 on his head and one of the main accused in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha. Though the police recovered the rifle used in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha but are still clueless about the sophisticated weapons like carbine and SLR used in the murder.

Bhuar Ojha, younger brother of Bisheshwar Ojha and husband of former MLA Munni Devi, demanded verification of Call Detail Reports of Haresh Mishra at the time of murder to identify the main culprit. Munni Devi demanded Narco test of the arrested miscreants. Police patrolling has been intensified at Sonbarsha and Ojhawalia villages after the arrest of Haresh Mishra.

On the other hand, Pooja Mishra, wife of Haresh Mishra, said that police intentionally implicated her husband in the murder of Bisheshwar Ojha. She further said that her husband had not killed Bisheshwar Ojha but yielded to the police atrocities. Bisheshwar Ojha, son of Raj Kishore Ojha, was shot dead when he was going to Barisawan on his Scorpio in the evening on February 12, 2016. A named FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station against seven persons including Haresh Mishra and Brajhesh Mishra.
