Police recover kidnapped girl from Ara Rly station

Ara : Police recovered a kidnapped teenage girl from Ara railway station on April 13, 2018, and brought her over to Ara civil court to get her statement recorded under section 164 of CrPC. Police also brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination.

SHO, Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district, said that a youth of village Mubarkpur  under Krishnagarh police station lured and kidnapped a teenage girl of the village with a view to marrying her on March 23, 2018. An FIR was lodged with Krishnagarh police station against three persons including a woman of the village in this connection. The SHO said that under mounting police pressure, the kidnappers left the girl at Ara railway station and escaped. Police are searching for the kidnappers,the SHO said.
