Patna: Police on January7 detained three persons and recovered IED after an encounter with naxals at village Dhabi under Deo police station in Aurangabad district. On getting information that some top naxal leaders including Abhijit ji and Nawal ji had assembled at village Dhabi, a police team reached there at around 10 am. Seeing the cops, the naxals opened fire at the police team, forcing the cops to retaliate. Several rounds were fired from both sides. Police said that later the naxals fled away from there. Police team recovered IED, police uniforms and detonators besides naxal literature from the spot.
