Ara : Government Railways Police (GRP), Ara, recovered body of a married woman from railway track on May 19, 2021, morning, and brought it to over Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Sandhya Devi, wife of Rohit Kumar of village Hargaon under Jagdishpur police station.
An FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station in this connection and police arrested Rohit Kumar, husband of the deceased, and are interrogating him. The reason behind the murder is still to be ascertained.
SHO, GRP, Ara,said that someone threw the body of a married woman on the rail track on May 18, 2021, late evening. In the early morning on May 19, 2021, police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital. The SHO said that she was killed and the miscreant threw the body on the rail track to erase evidence.
