Ara : Bhojpur police pasted Proclamation notices (Ishtehar) on the walls of the houses of four persons including a notorious criminal Dhan Ji Yadav on September 14, 2018, in connection with murder of Kundan Kumar and serious injury to his friend Raushan Kumar alias Chiku.
Police had requested the court to issue Proclamation notices (Ishtehars) against Dhan Ji Yadav, Vishwajeet, Doman, and Mantu Kahar and the court conceded their request on September 13, 2018.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that some armed miscreants had shot at two motorcycle borne youth Kundan Kumar, son of Amarnath Singh, former Bhojpur district General Secretary, Congress party, and his friend Raushan Kumar alias Chiku near Kulharia High School on Patna-Ara main road under Koelwar police station on August 11, 2018, when they were coming from Patna on their motorcycle. Kundan Kuamr succumbed to his injuries on way to Sadar Hospital, Ara, while Raushan Kumar was admitted there but the doctors referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of his serious condition. The incident was, the SP said, an outcome of gang war.
