Police launches ‘Operation Nakel’ in Patna & Nalanda districts to nab criminals

Patna : Police, under the leadership of DIG, Central Range, Rajesh Kumar, on February 5, 2019, launched a massive week-long round the clock ‘Operation Nakel’ in Patna and Nalanda district to crackdown down on criminals evading arrest. The operation would also give attention to identification of Bikers’ gang and their members and carry out search operations to arrest them.

Police, under ‘Operation Nakel’, would carry out search operations and conduct extensive raids to arrest known and unknown criminals and conspirators. The raids in Patna district would be conducted by the three City SPs, Rural SP, Patna, ASPs, SDPOs, DSPs, SHOs, circle Officers. All of them would be carrying wireless sets (main pack) so that the DIC can issue instructions to them as and when required.The operation could be extended depending on the success of the week-long drive.

All the SHOs, COs, DSPs, SDPOs, and ASPs would have to show at least one major achievement during the drive. Police would conduct raids at all the possible hideouts of criminals including parks, hotels, lodges, brothels, and scrape shops besides places of their respective patrons. Action would be taken against official found neglecting their duty while officials performing well would be rewarded. DIG Rajesh Kumar would himself be making field visits during the drive. The DIG has asked SSP, Patna, and SP, Nalanda, to ensure maximum seizure and arrest of criminals.
