Police HQs announces Rs 50,000 reward on notorious goon Khurshid Quraishi’s head

Ara : Bihar Police Headquarters announced a reward of Rs 50,000 on the head of a dreaded criminal Khurshid Quraishi on March 1, 2019, following recommendation from Bhojpur SP, Aditya Kumar. Earlier the Bhojpur Police had announced a reward of Rs 5,000 reward on his head. The Police Headquarter announced the reward on Khurshid Quraishi’s head after reviewing his criminal background. Khurshid is absconding even after attachment of his property.

Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar said that Khurshid Quraishi is a notorious and professional criminal and is absconding since the murder of a businessman Imran Khan and did not surrender even after his property was attached.

Khurshid Quraishi and his associates had killed Imran Khan and injured his elder brother Waqil Ahamad at Dharman Chowk about 50 meter from the Ara Town police station on December 6, 2018, to capture some shops Imran Khan had purchased and also not giving him an extortion amount (rangdari) of Rs. 10 lakh. Khurshid Quraishi and his associates also killed Imran Khan’s sister Shabnam Tara and also injured once again Waqil Khan on February 25, 2019, as they refused to withdraw the  case lodged against him in connection with trader Imran Khan’s murder.
