Ara : Police arrested two friends Dharam Kumar and Ankit Sarkar from Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station in Bhojpur District on April 21, 2020, evening, and sent them to jail for allegedly firing on one of their friends in Chandawa locality under Nawada police station, Ara. Police are conducting raids to arrest the third accused Shankar Kumar and recover the pistol used in firing.
SHO, Nawada police station, Sanjeev Kumar, said that an Intermediate student Harshit Kumar, son of Dharmendra Tiwari, a businessman of Chandawa locality, had gone to the market along with his friends on April 19, 2020, where some persons shot at and injured him. Later, a named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station against his three friends : Dharma Kumar, Ankit Sarkar, and Shankar Kumar on the statement of Renu Devi, aunt of the injured. Police arrested two of the named accused Dharam Kumar and Ankit Sarkar from Jagdeonagar locality ulnder Nawada police station.
