Ara : Police arrested two miscreants including Yogendra Yadav alias Langada from near Dawa Mor under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur District on May 24, 2020, morning, when they were planning some crime.
Police also recovered a countrymade loaded pistol, one live cartridge, and a blank cartridge from their possession. Yogendra Yadav alias Langada, son of late Sabha Yadav, is a resident of village Rupbandh under Jagdishpur police station while his associate Deepak Kumar alias Nepali Yadav,son of Dinanath Singh, is a resident of village Araiyadih under Hasan Bazaar police outpost in Bhojpur district. At least six cases are pending against Yogendra Yadav and two against Deepak Kumar.
Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar said that some armed miscreants had shot dead a JD (U) leader Saheb Singh at village Rupbandh under Jagdishpur police station on January 8, 2020, near his house and also attacked his brother merely for opposing sale of liquor in the village. An FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station against 10 named persons including Yogendra Yadav alias Langada and five unnamed in this connection.
The SP said that he formed Special Task Force under Jagdishpur SDPO Shyam Kishore Ranjan to crack the case. Meanwhile, he got information that Yogendra Yadav alias Langada along with his aides was hatching plan to commit crime near Dawa village under Jagdishpur police station. The SIT immediately conducted raids and caught the two miscreants including Yogendra Yadav alias Langada though his other aides escaped.
