Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tiff off, on October 14, 2019, arrested three persons from different places at Ara in connection with firing and also under Arms Act and sent them to jail. All the three persons were evading arrest
Sources said that police arrested three miscreants along with pistol and live cartridges from near Sun Temple on Dharahara-Ahirpurwa main road under Ara Town police station on August 24, 2019, while two of their associates had fled away. On October 14, police, on a tiff off, conducted raids and nabbed Md Javed from Bhaluhipur and Md Kalam from Dharahara.
Police also arrested Shankar Yadav, son of Punit Yadav of Balbatara locality under Ara Town police station, on October 14 in connection with clash between two groups in the area on August 22, 2019.
Some armed miscreants had shot at and injured a mason Shiv Jee Yadav at Dharahara Mathia under Ara Town police station on August 22, 2019, when he was going to his site. A named FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station against eight persons on the statement of the injured and police had arrested three of them the same day.
