Patna : Police on June 1, 2020, arrested three persons including two women in connection with double murder case that took place at village Ramnagar Mushahri under Ghoswari police station on May 30, 2020.
Police said that Golu Kumar alias Deobrat Kumar and Solzer Kumar were beaten to death at Ramnagar Mushahri on May 30, 2020. An FIR was lodged by Golu’s father Sanjay Manjhi against Pankaj Kumar and others with police station concerned. Soon after the incident, Patna SSP Upendra Sharma constituted a special team led by SP (Rural).
The special team after probe arrested main accused Pankaj Kumar. During interrogation, Pankaj confessed carrying out double murder along with some of his associates of same village.
The SSP said that based on confession made by Pankaj, police later arrested Sulekha Devi and Kavita Devi in this connection. Raids are on
to arrest others involved in this crime, he added.
